Hello lovely! I'm a New Mexico-native, now Texas-transplant who's crazy about my husband Jordan and two children, Luke and Aubrey. While wedding photography is my niche, I fell in love with newborn photography as my family began to grow. Words can't explain the emotion behind every photograph taken from the day my babies were born--especially professional photos. I quickly learned how fast those precious newborn cuddles turn into toddler giggles, and it stirred up this new passion within me: newborn photography. If I can save memories for your family like those that have been captured for mine, it would quite honestly fill my heart. Congratulations, mama!

LOCATION
My newborn sessions are more of a "lifestyle" approach, meaning we will take them in the comfort of your home. I'll find the best natural lighting, whether it be in the nursery (my favorite), your bedroom or the living room.
No, I'm not opposed to using your front or backyard if the weather is lovely!
waRDROBE STYLING
I promise I can relate--this can be tough! Especially when your body doesn't actually feel like your body AND you're juggling #allthethings while welcoming your little heart into the world. I'd love to help you style your session.
I have knotted gowns and blankets for your newborn, and I can help you plan and coordinate your outfits via email.

The SEssion
The goal is to capture all of the different combinations as well as the simple, natural love of your new family unfolding. We'll capture your new family portrait, mom with baby, dad with baby, siblings with baby and baby alone. I'll focus on whatever is most important to you while letting the sweet babe dictate what comes next. We improvise according to their needs, and we let them set the pace. Rather that specific newborn poses, I prefer to let the baby sleep naturally and capture the sweetest newborn stretches as they wake.
DELIVERY
You will receive your gallery online within 2 weeks after your session. The digital images will be high-resolution files, so should you choose to print and enlarge any photo, you may. You do have the option to purchase professional prints through your online gallery, and those will be shipped directly to your house.
You have 1 year to download your images for safe-keeping.
KEEPSAKES
Prints are precious. There's no better art in your home than the printed memories of some of the most special, fleeting moments of your lives. The best part is that these keepsakes are able to be savored and remembered as the years come, as your legacy continues and as future generations receive and cherish. If you're looking for more print options other than the ones seen in your online gallery, please let me help you.

WHAT TO WEAR
After bringing home a newborn, the last thing you want to do is stress about what to wear. Quite simply: neutrals. They seem to photograph beautifully for newborn sessions. The softness of the colors compliment the sweet, calm mood of the session, and the gentle colors go well with the light and avoid color casts on faces. Consider these soft, muted colors: cream, gray, soft greens, soft blues, pinks, purples, chambray or khaki. Bonus tip: don’t worry about shoes. They’re overrated indoors!
For the Littles
Newborns love to be swaddled, and thankful for us, swaddle blankets photograph so beautifully. Swaddle blankets, knotted gowns or tight clothing to make the baby feel secure and cuddled are winners, because everyone is happy. All of my babies have access to my stash of newborn blankets, knotted gowns and bows from Lou Lou & Co. My most popular colors are: gray, soft pink, soft blue, white, and cream striped pattern. Ask me about my options, and your baby is absolutely welcomed to wear what I have and help you save and plan.
Mom & DaD
Moms should feel beautiful while feeling comfortable. My best advice to postpartum mamas is to avoid clothing that might feel tight or show troublesome areas. Wear loose-fitting, flowy clothing. Dresses are my favorite to photography for postpartum mamas. Choosing colors for dad? Think khakis with a chambray, white, gray or blue button down. A combination of these is sure to win.

HOW DO WE BOOK?
I will send you an invoice online where you can submit your retainer fee through Honeybook, and your remaining balance will be due 1 week prior your session. Next, I will send a questionnaire your way along with helpful planning tips to ensure you a smooth session and simple outfit planning.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE RECEIVE?
You will receive 80+ high-resolution images in an online gallery where you will be able to download every single one. Once downloaded, they are yours forever--to print, to frame and to cherish.
How do you find the light
Because my newborn sessions are a "lifestyle" approach, sessions are done in the comfort of your home. Once I arrive, I'll find the best natural light in your nursery, master bedroom or even living area.
There's nothing quite like those first photos of your baby and family together. I can't quite explain the magic behind them, but I've felt it twice, and it only makes my heart grow bigger. Being a major "feeler", I'm not sure how it can! It's truly an honor to know I'm freezing the sweetest moments that can so quickly slip between your fingers--the newborn days.
