So this is the kind of wedding that makes me want to photograph weddings…every day.
But I don’t think it was just the wedding that made me feel this way–THIS COUPLE.
More specifically: the relationship between this couple.
They found it. They have it. They are the lucky ones.
I found so much energy and excitement photographing Leslie and Jon’s wedding day, because the pure joy radiating from BOTH sides was just contagious–I’m not kidding.
From the precious moment they shared holding hands without seeing one another before Leslie walked down the aisle to the husband and wife portraits (!!!!!) and private last dance–their connection and love for one another was one you see in the movies, hope to experience yourself and feel so happy for someone when they’ve found it.
May 1 was nothing short of perfect for Leslie and Jon. With colorful, luscious florals, heartfelt vows and a heck of a dance floor, it was an absolute dream.
And it was flawless–truly smooth and easy which allowed so much creativity and ease throughout the day. Plus, as you will see, they were a BLAST to take husband and wife portraits of, because it seemed as though they saw it as time reserved for the two of them on their wedding day. It was as if they felt like they were alone, which is what I always hope for my couples to feel, because clearly, you get the most heartfelt, loving and real images!
The way Jon looked at Leslie was priceless. She made the most gorgeous bride with her detailed wedding gown and veil that was just stunning. Not only did he go weak in the knees, but it was obvious how much Leslie just adored her handsome groom!
I left the Melton’s wedding with a full heart and felt so honored that I was able to document such a special day for such a detailed and heartfelt couple! Love you two!
