It was an elegant affair. Courtney and her bridesmaids relaxed with Mimosas in hand as they had their hear and makeup done at Hotel Encanto. It was a perfect, warm Las Cruces day for a wedding as beautiful as theirs. Courtney had been dreaming of this day, and her vision for it played out perfectly. From the beaded details on her wedding dress, the succulent wedding guest favors and the sequined table cloths, the time and love put into the planning was worth it. Courtney and Kevin’s blush and champagne wedding was timeliness and classy. My favorite detail would have to be the custom “I DO” signs made by Kevin’s grandpa or the incredible cake table–all of it, cake included! It doesn’t stop there though, many of the details were handmade by family members of the Mr. and Mrs. To me, that’s always the best!
I loved getting to know the two of them throughout our time together, and I truly grew to love them for each other. They each have found something very special in one another. That’s a special thing about being a wedding photographer is that you’re able to see the character of your couples. We loved watching Kevin dance with the little nieces and cousins at the wedding whose faces lit up as he twirled and spun them. Priceless.We loved seeing Courtney greet everyone at the wedding with sincerity and a smile that never ceased. Truly, as you scroll to enjoy their beautiful wedding day, her smile is as bright as the sun from the getting ready pictures to the reception! Her smile genuinely tells it all.
They vowed to love one another before their friends, family and God at the Basilica of San Albino. Courtney stood hand in hand with Kevin wearing the same necklace her grandmother did on her wedding day. Kevin couldn’t have looked more confidently into her eyes as he vowed to love Courtney forever. Once their rings were exchanged, the celebration began. The guests followed the wedding party to the Farm and Ranch Museum where cocktail hour followed and the DJ kept the reception exciting. The Marcha began the party, and it most definitely didn’t stop there.
Kevin and Courtney’s elegant affair that left us feeling so excited for their future. Congratulations, you two! Thank you for letting us be a part of such a sweet love story!
