Dallas Arboretum Proposal | Alan & Niki

Okay.

Get ready to smile and feel with Niki, because her man set her up for such a fun and epic proposal story to share for the rest of her life!

I knew Alan and Niki’s love must be something special, because Alan contacted me nearly a month prior his proposal to begin planning just the perfect day for his soon-to-be fiance. Needless to say, I was impressed from the beginning! His attention to detail and thoughtfulness was so fun to witness! I couldn’t wait to be part of his and Niki’s big day.

Niki’s best friend invited her to get her nails done with her earlier that Saturday, because she said that she won a package at work that was complete with manicures, brunch at an upscale restaurant and tickets to the Arboretum that afternoon. Niki simply thought she was lucky to be joining in on these sweet tickets and pampering package that her best friend “won” at work!

Brilliant move, Alan.

So Niki spent the better part of her morning and early afternoon relaxing, being pampered and brunching with her bestie. Could it get much better?

Actually, yes, and I’m sure you can guess how… 😉

Niki and her best friend arrived to the DeGoyler restaurant at the Arboretum to meet up with Alan and their other friends who had “just finished golfing”. Well, Alan wasn’t at the table when they arrived, but a brief message and map was delivered promptly from their waiter.

Niki followed the map (kind of…), and all worked out beautifully! Alan took her hand-in-hand and walked her to the spot we had both planned prior her arrival to the gardens.

Just when the walkway cleared and the moment was right, Alan got down on one knee and asked Niki to marry him. I’m quite confident that from that moment on, their smiles never ceased.

You’ll witness this as you enjoy their session! Talk about making my job so easy–I loved getting to photograph their pure joy and excitement. Their love was completely obvious, and I’m just so happy that Niki has such a sweet story to share with friends and family for the rest of her life to come. Alan seemed to have found a gem in Niki, and well…he put a ring on it! 😉
