I just adore this couple.
I did from the time we talked over the phone when I still lived in New Mexico. I could just tell that their love was so solid, so precious and so worth it.
All of the times I’ve been around Madison combined with the time I spent witnessing their excitement and joy on their wedding day has just surpassed the fun I thought I could have photographing a couple.
Just as their loved ones toasted, these two are so lucky to have found the love they share. I loved witnessing the emotion they both displayed when they exchanged and read the love notes they wrote each other. Again, I think this simple act of writing love notes is something to always carry into marriage. Of course it’s sweet on a wedding day, but it can move mountains within a marriage, as well. I loved this deep, emotional side of their love.
And at the same time, I loved photographing their joyful, smiles-so-big-they-can’t-stretch-any-wider smiles.
That smile they shared walking down the aisle together.
That smile they shared during husband and wife portraits.
That smile they shared on the dance floor together.
This smile is what I hope they experience often within their marriage.
I am so excited for them to experience the joys and adventures ahead! Colby sure does have himself a gorgeous bride in Madison, and she has herself such a solid husband, herself.
Their wedding was just incredible to photograph. From the venue that tugged at my heart strings with it’s location deep into the country and the pops of blue within the florals and wedding colors. Ah, it just did it for me!
All of the pretty corals with that soft blue to compliment it? Yes, please!! I adore!!
Every detail—the honey made from their family’s beehive to send off their guests with something sweet, the dessert bar complete with pie pops and the ombre bridesmaid dresses—all perfect.
And they danced the night away as if it was just that—perfect.
Colby and Madison, hugs to you both!! Love you guys and am so happy for you!
