Blush, Navy & Gold Heritage Springs Wedding | Brent & Caroline | Anna, TX

June 22, 2016

This wedding sure tugged at my heart strings more than they usually do.

You see, I’ve always known Caroline through one of her besties and bridesmaids, Jenna, because I’ve been so close with Jenna over the years. So to pair getting to know Caroline and Brent throughout this past year and the stories from Jenna, I had no reason but to just adore them, their love, their story. They don’t come any sweeter than Caroline.

Can I get an amen!? I just adore these two.

From getting to know their love story during our first consultation over Skype.

To interacting with them during their engagements.

To seeing their “first look” on their wedding day when Caroline tapped his shoulder and he turned around in awe to find her, pull her in tightly and keep her there until it felt right.

Adore.

Like, I felt with them, and had big tears welling up in my eyes just like everyone else at their ceremony when Caroline walked down the aisle with her daddy. I actually had to self-talk myself into pulling it all together!

These two have walked through it all together, thick and think, even before their vows, only to come out stronger. And on this wedding day, they did just that, and let me tell you, they celebrated this feat in front of God, family and friends. There was so much to celebrate, and their friends came alongside, the DJ totally killed it, and it was such a night to remember!

But not only was it a night to remember, the day leading up to couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a calm, cloudy day. Just after we’d finished all of our group pictures outside in the beautiful even light that not every couple gets so lucky to have, it decided to rain. No harm, no rush, because the ceremony would start in an hour.

No panic across the venue, as everybody continued setting up and relaxing. I think we all knew an trusted that Brent and Caroline would still marry after she walked down the hill with her daddy, arm in arm.

And she did. The light rain ceased just minutes before the ceremony started, guests wiped their seats and smiled the remainder of the night.

Smiled at this joyful, beautiful couple; smiled at the lush, blush flowers; smiled at the beautiful details that surrounded their love to make their day fabulous; and smiled at all of the fun that was had on the dance floor. What a stellar group of friends and family to join this newlywed couple and love on them for the days to come! And what a special wedding day to go down in the book for Caroline and Brent!

Hugs, hugs, hugs to these two! So happy for you guys!
