Las Cruces Intimate Backyard Wedding | Matt & Tessa

Where do I even start with this blog post?! 

What a joy it was to shoot Matt and Tessa’s wedding in Las Cruces last month! These two beautiful people are friends of ours with the sweetest love story–full of patience, passion and pursuit. 

The way Matt loves and pursues Tessa is just incredible. The beautiful thing is that Tessa just blossoms because of it. Watching the way they interact with one another; the way he reacted and wiped the tears from his eyes when she walked down the aisle; the way she just melts in his arms when he kisses her. 

Don’t we all just wish that those statements could be written or noticed about us!? 

They are so blessed. So loved. So much fun for us to know and so much fun for us to celebrate alongside on their wedding day!

Their wedding day was full of their fingerprints, as they as their loved ones helped prepare, decorate and design such an incredible celebration that our group of friends will never forget. 

The ceremony began at the church that Matt first met Tessa, and the reception ended up close-by at a family friend’s backyard, which made for the perfect spot for a string-light and dance-filled party. The amount of friends and family the Schalks had to celebrate with them was just amazing. 

I hope they are able to look back on their wedding day and remember so many of these fun details that made it truly perfect for them. 

Matt sure did know from the moment he saw Tessa that she was going to be his beautiful bride, and she filled those shoes just beautifully. What a special, blessed couple! We love you guys!
