First United Methodist Church Artesia Wedding | Alex & Britni

August 15, 2016

Where do I even begin with all of the sentimental lovely details of Alex & Britni’s wedding day!?

Maybe with the fact that her father grew the flowers you seen throughout her wedding and made her incredible bouquet that she carried down the aisle?

Or that the necklace and bracelet she wore were her Grandmother’s that she always loved to try on when she was a little girl?

Either one of those would be solid, sweet points to touch on, but let’s start with how lovely and fun their wedding was with all of their fingerprints left throughout. You see, there were so much sweet touches, such as the two I mentioned first. So many, that I’m sure I don’t even know them all!

One that I love is how they incorporated a coffee bar at their reception. It seemed like even before they were engaged, it was their thing to try out new coffee shops everywhere they traveled together–near home or far away. Alex saw this as significant himself and chose to propose to Britni at a coffee shop with their own personal coffee, made for them. They served this at the wedding, and it was so them!

Alex, Britni, and their family and friends helped plan, create, decorate and execute such a beautiful, memorable wedding day for the two of them.

It was a special wedding for me to photograph for several reasons. A few of them being: this was the same church that Jordan and I married; the same church in which Britni and I grew up. She was a few years older than me, so I always looked up to her, being one of the younger kids in the youth group. Her dad was my Sunday school teacher in high school, and her mother was my choir teacher when I was a young’n. I loved being able to shoot my first wedding in my own church, which I think is so beautiful.

But not only was the church beautiful. Oh wow, Britni was just radiant! So incredibly beautiful, and I know Alex must have been speechless seeing her walk down the aisle.

Alex & Britni enjoyed a calm, fun and special wedding day with their friends and family, finishing the night with some two-stepping and bubbles that sent them off as Mr. and Mrs. Ridolfi with smiles.

Hugs to you two!! I had so much fun with you both!
