Bright Milestone Wedding | John & Courtney

What a bright & beautiful wedding John and Courtney will have to remember forever.

These two high school sweethearts have been pursuing one another for 7 years now, and from the emotions of the day, it seems like August 7 was the most perfect day for them to vow to love each other forever.

And they did just this. In front of loved ones who shed a tear with them, as they recited their personal, hand-written vows to one another at the altar. I’m not sure if there was a dry eye in the ceremony as they did so.

It was so beautiful.

And this is one of my favorite things about these two: their love and passion for one another. When you’re around them, you see it. You just get this feeling that they are so secure in their love with one another. They are confident and passionately in pursuit of one another and just seem to have so much fun when they’re together. I’ve loved getting to know them throughout these past several months and getting to know this sweetness about them.

That alone made it so fun and exciting for me to photograph their beautiful wedding at the Milestone in Denton. Their beautiful pops of coral in the florals and lovely lace details added such style to their wedding.

When I think of their wedding day, and I see bright, colorful emotions that set the tone of the day: joyful.

I can’t wait for these two to experience the joys of marriage in their last year of graduate school together. Jordan and I know full well how much we loved being married in grad school, and we wish the same adventures and memories for them, as well!
