It doesn’t get quite as special as having one of your best friends from graduate school in front of your camera with her fiance!
I’ve been super lucky these past few months to be able to photograph some dear, dear friends of mine while I’ve been home in New Mexico.
And Christina and Nathan were sweet enough to make a little trek down to our farm to save these lovely memories for them! And it’s just the icing on the cake that she’s drop dead gorgeous. I mean, that smile, her hair, her eyes–her personality shines through them all. She is so much fun! I was in photographer heaven with her in front of my camera, because she just can’t take a bad picture! Add in Nathan and the love between them, and you have such a striking engagement session!
I told Christina that it’s not all the time I’m taking engagement pictures on my own farm, so to do this with close friends of mine in a location so near to my heart was so exhilarating for me. They completely made it look GOOD! Even in the middle of the afternoon sun, they rocked it!
Their relationship began in Las Cruces while this this little Michigan girl traveled southwest to attend graduate school at NMSU. They met dancing, and he stole her heart on that dance floor. Nathan serves in the Air Force and has been deployed more than once leaving this strong and supportive love of his in the states. He’s a hard worker and is passionate about America, his job and the love of his life. I admire their relationship and how they’ve made it work with the distance and undeniable love and excitement for each other.
There’s one thing about these two: they have fun together. So much fun.
And hey, it’s only just beginning, right!? I’m so excited for them to become husband and wife this July! Love you guys!
