I’ve literally always dreamed of having a sweet, lovely couple + a vintage bicycle combined during a session. Well, since I’ve had a camera in my hands, I’ve dreamed about this.
After sharing my simple dream with Kate from The Everyday Hostess over brunch, she took this and created and styled the most fun, breathtaking vintage-styled picnic date night for a sweet newlywed couple, Elie & Aaron. Kate is so talented at what she does, and she used the props from Gold Dust Vintage Rentals to make it even dreamier for the vision we had. Caddy Corner Designs added her talent with calligraphy, which added a sweet and sentimental touch to the styled shoot. She wrote a line from Elie and Aaron’s first dance for them to keep and remember forever on a wooden palate, which made the date night even more unique and special to them.
And lastly, The Yes Girls donated their Love Gift Box for Aaron to gift Elie, including: a hand-stamped “I Still Do” rose gold bar necklace, a scented bath bob, a candle wine stopper, and a Men’s QALO wedding band. Um…yes, please! I love everything about this, and it isn’t the only gift option they have on their website. Take a look! Jordan…? 😉
All in all, I look back and know Aaron and Elie were just perfect for our styled shoot. They made it so fun, easy and fulfilling for me as they were just themselves: in love and having fun. We hope we made their date night special, delicious and romantic–aside from that mosquito or two…! I think we’ll thank the unexpected Texas rain storm for that.
