White on white on white.
A deep rose color and light peach pop of fall colors to compliment the bright and airy beauty of the rest of their wedding day.
A stunning wedding dress to drop jaws and a striking groom to match the mood.
Not to mention all of which took place on perhaps the loveliest day in Dallas yet that you could’ve only dreamed for. I mean truly! Did it even hit 70 degrees that day?!
Katie and Alex had planned their wedding with so much detail, love, and thoughtfulness. It’s honestly amazing how much fun it is to shoot a wedding when you can just feed off the bride and groom’s genuine joy, passion and love. They chose to do a “first look” before their ceremony, which allowed for us plenty of time for bride and groom romantics and husband and wife romantics at sunset. Katie really valued photography, and this reflected in the timeline. Which reflects heavily in the blog you’re about to enjoy! 🙂
What I think I loved most about their first look is Alex’s response. Of course, he naturally turned around to see his beautiful bride in awe, and he wrapped her up quickly in his arms in the sweetest, tightest way. But this moment wasn’t over. He continued to be in amazement of his bride the rest of the time he spent with her on their wedding day, leading up to and after the ceremony. While he may or may not have teared up during their “first look”, he most definitely did when she walked down the aisle.
It didn’t take away from the moment one bit. After they celebrated down the aisle hand-in-hand during their recessional, Katie turned to Alex and commented on how she’d never seen him cry. Tears were welling up in his eyes once again, and in that moment, I just wanted to squeeze them.
Words can’t explain how happy I am that they are now husband and wife and that they had the best wedding day ever. I mean #brownsbestday, right?! 😉
They danced the night away with friend and family, and it was a reception to remember. I am so honored to have photographed their wedding and so glad to have met such a sweet, lovely couple as the Browns! Hugs to these two!
