Oh we were so lucky.
So lucky to have cool, fall weather. So lucky to have golden backlighting. And so lucky to have rescheduled to such a lovely day. Their original engagement session date was rained out the week prior, but it was all for the best, because these two were perfect.
They drove up and back from College Station during the week for their session, and I seriously can’t thank them enough! I had “met” Taylor over the phone and several emails to just fall in love with how sweet and thoughtful she is. When I finally was able to not only meet her in person but meet her with Pearson, it made me so incredibly excited for their wedding this July!
And my, oh my, those gorgeous locks and that beautiful smile might have added quite a bit to that excitement, as well! ๐
It was fun getting to know the two of them and their love even better throughout our time at Arbor Hills, because it made me understand why they’ve been together since the 8th grade! 8th grade, people! That’s a sweet, young love that’s obviously blossomed into the beautiful love that you’re about to scroll through.
When I was organizing the pictures for this blog, I immediately fell in love with their session all over again, as I remembered Pearson’s soft smile growing bigger and bigger with the different frames. I remembered how naturally Taylor just fit into his hug when he pulled her in tightly. And I remembered Taylor’s confident-in-love demeanor as they walked hand-in-hand from pose to pose. Because nearly every second you’re with me can turn into a pose, you know! ๐
I’m so glad I met and was able to connect with this sweet couple! They are gorgeous together, and I’m pumped for them to become Mr. and Mrs. Randell this July!
I hope they found some In N Out on their way home that evening, because when Taylor shared that she was craving it, this pregnant photog defintely thought the same and had it the next night! ๐ Ha! Hope you enjoyed you some, girl!
