Holy Trinity Catholic Church + Tower Club Wedding | Kevin & Lesley

March 27, 2017

Okay, can we get one thing straight here?

The Kramer wedding was a blast.

And I don’t mean to say that lightly: Kevin and Kevin’s wedding WAS A BLAST. Like, I literally got the chills/tears during their reception, because it was that much fun. I didn’t even know it was possible, but people, it is!

The band just absolutely killed it. K I L L E D   I T. In fact, all of the vendors came together to create such a beautiful day.

And seeing Lesley and Kevin dancing the night away, singing on stage and dipping and kissing during their exit of the night just did it for me. Just made my heart so happy. Jordan and I left their wedding that night, and I couldn’t stop raving about how happy I was that they had such a lovely, exciting and fun wedding day to remember.

That day. THAT perfect weather, that exciting band, that delicious food, that BUNCH of friends and family—THAT is what they have to remember as their wedding day. And I hope these pictures can remind them of all the pretty things, honorable commitments, abounding love and glow sticks circulating the dance floor. And the cake. We can’t forget about the cake!

But let’s talk love here.

When I first arrived at the Magnolia Hotel where the wedding party was getting ready, I started photographing all the lovely details. It was during that time I started talking with one of Lesley’s bridesmaids, and she made a comment that stuck with me. She said that there was no question about Lesley and Kevin’s love. No doubt. Everyone could see they were perfect for one another. And it wasn’t even the comment she made but the way she said it. So confidently and casually.

I loved it. And it honestly just started the tone for the day: so loving, fun and personal.

One of my favorite moments of the day had to be Kevin and Lesley’s First Look, because the way Kevin smiled at Lesley and immediately pulled her in tightly for a kiss—was priceless. But I mean, clearly! How stunning was Lesley in her wedding dress, amazing bouquet and classic updo? Cue numerous fabulous photos to immediately follow! Their excitement totally guided the way for me as I was able to save some sweet memories for the two of them. This part of the day was perfect, and I don’t’ take for granted any time I’m able to save portraits for the bride & groom! I was thankful to have a few minutes more with them after the ceremony too!

Lesley and Kevin had many friends and family supporting them throughout their wedding day—whether it be in the wedding party, as ushers, Kevin’s father singing during the ceremony or Lesley’s grandmother’s lace from a dress that was wrapped around her bouquet.  The number of ways that family and friends were involved to make such a special, sweet wedding day for Lesley and Kevin seemed endless, and it was quite obvious by the support at their ceremony and celebration at the reception that they all saw what Lesley’s bridesmaid did: they were perfect for each other.

They exited through a line their loved ones formed as bubbles floated above them, and they walked under the Dallas city skyline. Husband and wife. Yet another moment that gave me the chills and made me so happy for them that they had such an unforgettable wedding day.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Kramer!!
