I’m feeling lucky to have this sweet pair on my calendar for 2018, because y’all, they’re FUN! Not only are they extremely photogenic and sweet, but I just had a blast walking through Klyde Warren Park and Trinity Groves with them.
Kristen is also a speech-language pathologist who heard about me from her other SLP friend who I photographed a few weeks ago. I have to say, I feel like I already know all of my brides who share this same background as me! Even though I may not be one anymore, I’d say there’s this unique “speechie” bond. You can think it’s weird, but I just adore Kristen!
Taking their engagement pictures at Klyde Warren Park was special to them, because this was actually where he proposed to her. You’ll notice there are a few pictures of Kristen and Skyler sitting on a bench near the green tree pathway, and it just so happened that one of these benches was where he asked her to spend forever with him. I hope and know that when they look back on these engagement pictures, they won’t be able to help but think back to an even more special, raw, exciting moment as their proposal. And I love that.
I love getting to photograph such fun, beautiful people like Skyler and Kristen, and it’s an honor to get to photograph their wedding next May!
