Dallas Arboretum & White Rock Lake Engagement Session | Westyn + Tara

YES YES YES!

Westyn and Tara are the sweetest!! Oh my goodness, seeing their sweet love-joy during their session just made my day. I actually photographed Westyn’s sister Ashleigh’s wedding a couple of years ago, so it was really fun getting to know Westyn better and seeing him make his fiance absolutely LIGHT UP.

The two of them are getting married next September, and it’s going to be such a celebration—a celebration of two sweet loves and lives coming together and a celebration of no more long distance! These two are troopers, and I can tell they maximize the time they do have in the same city while they’re working and finishing up degrees.

We met and photographed their engagement session within 1 week while Tara and Westyn were in town for Christmas, and it sounds like while they got much wedding planning done, they also spent fun time with friends, family and one another.

Seeing Tara’s smile light up twice as big during their engagement session as it did when I first met her over coffee was so sweet to me—Westyn truly makes her beyond joyful, and it is completely clear how the feeling is so mutual!

I’m so happy for these two and can’t wait to celebrate with them next September!!
