Oh man. Truly–how do I do this engagement session blog post justice?!
It was such an honor and complete JOY to photograph Claire and Jesse’s sweet, fun love, because I’ve watched it grow, flourish and thrive. Claire is my sister-in-law, and Jesse will soon be “Uncle Jesse” to my babies! *I love referring to him as Uncle Jesse, because #duhFullHouse*Â We are SO happy for Jesse to be joining the family, and we LOVE how happy he makes our Claire!
I have such an inside perspective on the real, true love that is Jesse and Claire’s, and THAT made planning for their session and having them in front of my camera SO MUCH FUN. Like, I had an excuse to have my camera out to capture their genuine, loving selves and sweet smiles–WINNING.
So when they decided on Bishop Arts, knowing them, I KNEW we had to incorporate ice cream [and scooters]. Because, like Jesse mentioned before, “their relationship is based off of love and ice cream”. I mean, how many times have they scootered to ice cream 😉 ?? And their new favorite ice cream place, Melt, just so happened to be in Bishop Arts. Creamistry, watch out. You’ve got competition–these two KNOW good ice cream! 😉
And I LOVE this about them–not that they love ice cream but that they love the little things together. I hope they carry these sweet dates into their marriage in a creative and fun way as they grow together and find more delicious ice cream for fun date nights together.
They’ve got everything and everyone on their side, and I’m excited for them to take the leap as husband and wife–and for Jesse to officially be “Uncle Jesse”! Claire not only picked a solid future husband for herself but she picked a quality guy who we all love and can’t wait to adventure through life with.
Claire and Jesse, we love you so! Let’s get you two MARRIED!!
