Bella Woods Wedding | Caitlyn + Chase

January 25, 2020

Emotional. Celebratory. Gorgeous.

How could I ever choose 3 words to describe Caitlyn and Chase’s wedding day–or THIS COUPLE?!

I’m telling you–it was not only an honor to photography such a special day in their lives for them, but it was also an honor to simply just KNOW them. And I’m pretty sure that those of you who DO know either one of them, understand what I mean by this.

Getting married is definitely a reason to have others celebrating YOU and your exciting TIME (like what I LOVE to do!). Throughout Caitlyn and Chase’s wedding planning, they always made a point to genuinely care for anyone they came in contact with throughout their wedding planning process. And I could tell that 1) from my interactions with them and 2) the way they interacted with all of their other vendors, friends and family. I mean, who WOULDN’T want to celebrate EXTRA on the dance floor with them on their wedding day?! And who better to deserve such a loving, romantic, sentimental, beautiful, FUN wedding day than a couple who loves others well and loves one another deeply!?

It was easy to serve them when it came naturally to them to put other before them. I will truly never forget what they did for me during their engagement session (sorry, throwback time!). I was 9 months pregnant, and while we had parked a ways from our session location, they drove up to me to give me a ride back to my car. I mean, I could’ve done it, but they anticipated, were aware and served me when it was MY job to love them well. It’s like the quote from Carl W. Buehner, “They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” I may not remember all of our conversation from that day, but I will absolutely remember how they made me feel–as their photographer!

They’re just a special couple, and they had a special wedding day. The weather was fabulous for a sunny January day. Their loved ones surrounded them 100% of the day from when they got ready with mimosas in hand to when they celebrated through their sparkler exit at the end of the night. The florals were absolutely stunning, and Chase’s bride was radiating with joy from her inner core. Watching Chase see Caitlyn walking down the aisle was the icing on the cake for me–nothing else mattered in that moment. It was clear perfection, focus and joy as they locked eyes…with a tear or two. 🙂

Caitlyn was an absolutely stunning bride from the inside out, and it was such a joy to get to photograph the Gambill wedding day! I couldn’t help myself with the number of husband and wife portraits, because….they let me! 🙂 Love these two and their sweet friends and family!
