Oh, what a joyful celebration!
It was a celebration that you could tell started long before their actual ceremony and lasted through the weekend.
And I’m telling you, there wasn’t a detail that went forgotten.
From the hotel welcome goodies, the lovely florals, the 3rd generation six-pence piece and stunning bow on the back of Rachel’s dress to the incredible reception venue at the Perot Museum, the entire wedding celebration was absolutely incredible.
So classy, so elegant, so full of love.
Rachel–my goodness, what a beautiful bride she was! I seriously can’t get enough of her elegant dress!
She and Trey are absolutely perfect together. And I don’t think you can get any sweeter and more kind than this couple paired together. Which I know is why so many loved ones showed how easy it was to celebrate their love all weekend long!
Their day started off with such a relaxed and fun mood as the girls had their hair and makeup done at the Fairmont in downtown. As the wedding party made their way to the church, the first thing Rachel did after she put her beautiful dress on was share a first look with her dad and brother. It was in this moment, in the earlier part of the day, that I knew this family was special–so close, tight-knit and connected. The way Rachel’s father smiled and pulled her in–then the way her brother reacted to seeing her: priceless. She has some special men in her life who love her, and it was so sweet to see them welcome Trey right on in to that role.
Trey is the perfect man to take Rachel’s hand in marriage, and it was so sweet to see her dad and brother so confidently give him that.
Watching this bride and groom see each other for the first time on their wedding day then become newlyweds and celebrate the rest of their day with their closest loved ones was such a beautiful way to wrap up my January weddings! I couldn’t help but dance along with them, smile with them and feel so excited for them.
Congrats, Trey and Rachel! Your wedding day is seriously one for the books!
