Well, goodness, I sure fell in love with these two, the more I got to know them.
That’s one of the sweet, unique honors I get as a wedding photographer–I get to know couples over email, coffee, during their engagement session and throughout their wedding day, a day which easily stirs up many emotions and a day that you can easily (and rightly so) become laser-focused on yourself.
One of the reasons my heart grew for CJ and Kelly is by watching the way they treated everyone throughout their own wedding day. To them, making sure everyone felt seen, heard, and a part of the celebration on the dance floor–that was important.
I watched Kelly invite several friends out to dance and make them feel welcomed.
I watched them love their family well.
I watched them be 100% themselves during husband and wife photos–unashamedly confident and in love.
I felt the love from them that they should have been receiving from everyone else–and they DID.
Kelly and CJ were absolutely loved on throughout their entire day–everyone celebrating them, dancing with them and so dang happy for them. I know that their wedding day had to be the best day of their lives. They make such a stunning pair together, and they have such a beautiful, exciting life ahead of them!
