What a beautiful day it was for Michael and Brianna!
It was a day they had both been waiting for…for years. Their story didn’t start in college or in high school–but in their elementary days. These two are some of the lucky few who see something special in some early in life. They’re the lucky few who find their best friend and get to grow up with them.
That’s Michael and Brianna. It was so beautiful and refreshing to not only witness but to document this love that’s continuing to grow so strong and confidently.
Seeing Brianna’s beautiful smile (and I mean, this girl has the most RADIANT smile!), feeling the excitement from Michael and knowing that these two understood the importance and FUN of their wedding day–it made my time with them so incredibly refreshing.
I always send my brides a questionnaire to fill out before their wedding day, and on that questionnaire, Brianna specifically asked for me to help remind her throughout the day to not let her lose sight of the meaning of her wedding day. She knew beforehand that the day can easily slip away from you, the excitement and nerves and pull you away from the purpose–and she asked ME to hold that honor. I’ve never experienced this before, and it honestly just moved me. I appreciated it so much, and it gave me even more confidence in their love, their future and their solid relationship together as husband and wife, as best friends, as world conquerors.
With both Michael and Brianna serving in the acute care medical fields–you know they have the biggest hearts, are intelligent people and are in it for the people.
It was evident that these two care incredibly much for one another and are each other’s biggest fans. And I got to photograph that beautiful relationship as well as all of the beautiful details and people that made up the rest of their day!
Brianna wore a lovely pearl necklace that was borrowed from Michael’s mother’s side of the family, and her entire color palette had me major heart eyes! The soft purples, blues, pinks and greenery were truly stunning! Her vision played out beautifully at the Bella Woods Ballroom where the night wrapped up with an incredible parrrrrtyyyy!
Oh, I just LOVE it when the dance floor is true celebration for the couple, and THAT it was!
I remember when I first visited over the phone with Michael and Brianna–they told me that having a longer reception with more dancing was really important to them and their families, and I totally understand that now! I know it had to have been everything they dreamed of and more, because it was so much fun!
