Can I just say that Michael and Leslie are just precious together? Their love, their romance, their smiles. Everything about them is so sweet and was sweet to photograph. Not only was it sweet to photograph, it was exciting, fun and fresh to capture. They’re the kind of couple you could spend all day photographing, because they’re both so much fun to hang out with! Not to mention, they both make such a strikingly attractive pair in front of the camera!
Michael and Emily chose to see each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle in her stunning lace wedding dress. After a morning of relaxation and laughter with her closest girlfriends, she was totally excited and ready to see her man as she walked down the aisle. Her demeanor came off to me as so confident, in love and just downright joyful. Who wouldn’t want to be this way on their wedding day? Emily most definitely was.
The venue was perfect and intimate with their friends and family. Their old RUF campus youth minister married them, their friends used their musical talents to play beautiful songs during the ceremony, and Michael’s grandma read scripture. But these weren’t the only friends who helped make Emily and Michael’s day special. Plenty of others contributed their time and love in this sweet, heartfelt day, as well. The cakes were delicious and made by family who provided nearly every flavor of cake imaginable, and they were each beautiful! And a talented bridesmaid made all the bouquets and flower arrangements, which were such a treat to the eye. What a special combination of loved ones using their talents and love for the Mr. and Mrs.! Everyone gathered to love on them, laugh with them and congratulate them!
We probably fell in love with Michael and Emily’s love when we snuck away with them for their “romantics”, the bride and groom pictures. We told them that it was one of the only times during their wedding where they could just relax, let it be the two of them, and take in the moment of being husband and wife, because the rest would be celebration with family. They totally took this seriously and were so comfortable just being in love in each other’s arms as Mr. and Mrs. I’m so thrilled we could capture some of that for these two! They are two sweet and lovely God-loving people who have found each other and are blessed to start living life together. We are so excited for them and honored they let us capture it!
