It took more than just being introduced to each other by friends. After a few times of seeing each other at the gym, they discovered their mutual love for The Walking Dead….and realized that somehow their workouts were getting longer and longer. All it took was one pizza date at Dion’s to seal the deal. The rest was history. And the pizza was undeniably the best they had ever eaten!

Marie and Jesse’s wedding day was beautiful. Simply lovely. With a wedding party that consisted of a Matron of Honor and Best Man, the theme of simplicity and intimate friendships persisted throughout the day. Smiles. Tears of joy. I know one of my favorite moments of the day was hearing the Best Man and Matron of Honor speeches. Both were outstanding and displayed Marie and Jesse’s love story so eloquently. I would be lying if I said I didn’t tear up, myself.

Her diamond ring sparkled as her brother walked her down the aisle. His face lit up as he held her hands inside his own. Prior this intimate and beautiful moment, their lives consisted of busy. Of Medical school for Jesse and wedding planning on top of work for Marie. A new adventure began for Jesse and Marie as she said, “I do”. A new adventure awaits them as they journey across the country as Dr. and Mrs. Howell. The adventure of simply having quality time. To be spontaneous, hike and stay up late watching…you guessed it, The Walking Dead with their sweet pup. Oh, the adventures that will unfold before them!

Marie says it perfectly. “He gets me and I get him. I love that he not only pushes me to grow as a person but he also pushes me to grow in my faith.” It’s a given that none of us are perfect, but I love how she simply stated that even though Jesse wasn’t perfect, she’s confident that he’s perfect for her. Amen sister. He is! We all witnessed it! And we are all so very excited for you both as you embark your new journey as Dr. and Mrs. Howell!
