Sometimes couples are just meant to be in front of the camera. I’m not even sure if I can articulate it, but these two were just so easy. Of course I was my usual talkative-self behind the camera, but it was like they didn’t even need my guidance! You’ll see–they’re just too stinkin’ cute together that I could melt!
I know it has so much to do with the love between the couple. Don’t get me wrong, I can easily tell that all of my couples are deeply in love, but it’s like a special gene or something in some couples who just seem to feel like they’re the only two people in the location, which creates the most genuine moments. Alex and Katie are just so in love, and their poses and sweet smiles truly showed it!
It made my time with them so incredibly enjoyable.
Of course Katie had the awesome idea to take part of their engagement photos at the Fire Station, because her fiancé is a firefighter. Naturally, I was googly-eyed at the idea of something unique, and I was all for it! We finished up our session at Arbor Hills, which quite simply, never disappoints. The backlighting, the sweet couple and the fun time I had–all made for a joyful evening for me. I always love getting to know new couples and hearing their stories–these two are a couple of sweet ones! October of 2016 can’t come soon enough! 😉
