Ohhh yes yes yes!
I’m just swooning over here and remembering just how sweet these two were during their engagement session.
You can just tell.
You can just tell that they’re committed. So in love. So joyful. So genuine and sweet. As a couple, they just emit this fun, encouraging presence, and I couldn’t get enough of it and them!
They knew they wanted their engagement session at Kyle Warren Park, because that just so happened to be where John got down on one knee to ask this pretty lady to marry him. Obviously, she said, “yes”, and they’re planning their Dallas wedding from Lubbock where they attend graduate school. Courtney is another “speechie” who will graduate soon and work with little kiddos! For those of you who haven’t caught on to “speechie”–aka speech-language pathologist. 😉 She has the sweetest and most fun personality, so I know she’ll be great working with kiddos…or anyone, for that matter!! Yes, this also means that she makes such a fun bride to get to work with! I know she’s just been a breath of fresh air for me, and I can hardly wait for August to roll around the corner!
We found other fun spots near Kyle Warren Park that really highlighted some fun downtown, city backdrops. They made them look good, and we had ourselves a good time!
I basically melt a little inside when I see the way Courtney looks into John’s eyes. I mean, my point exactly–above and below!
I personally know how planning a wedding while in school can be a little hectic, but these two seem to be having so much fun with it, making good use of their time in Dallas. We took their engagement photos over their spring break, and I’m so glad the timing worked out for such a beautiful day! Before they know it… 🙂
