Heartfelt, fun and full of faith.
I feel like these are three themes are were true not only of the Weber wedding day but of both Brittany and Lyle’s lives. Like I mentioned before in Brittany’s bridal’s blog post, I feel so lucky to have gotten to meet and work with this bride and couple.
Their afternoon wedding at the Chapel and Ana Villa was so beautiful and just a breath of fresh air for us to enter back into the wedding season again!
These two are truly a one of a kind couple and come with such an incredible story, together and individually!
While there were many details from their wedding day that I just adored, I’m excited to point out a few of them. The first being the theme of: travels. Firstly, love found a way for these two, aside from their being raised in America and South Africa. This still sends chills down my spine thinking how happy I am they found one another. Their love for traveling, adventure and missions is what gave the shot of Mr. and Mrs. Weber even possible. And hey, I’m so glad that was even possible!
So while traveling was played out in many ways throughout the wedding day, I personally adored how each table (yes, literally each table) had a different country spelled out in Scrabble letters on it. Lyle and Brittany were able to label each table with a country that one of them had traveled to, along with a story to go with it. They even gave sweet luggage tags for all of the guests as gifts. Can we get much cooler?!
I mean, I knew Brittany and Lyle were unique and fun in their relationship, quite simply from their varying backgrounds, but to be able to say you’ve seen that much of the world..? They went up a few hundred notches in my book.
Another detail I wanted to highlight was Brittany’s Toms’ bridal shoes and the fact that Brittany actually worked for Toms, traveling to different countries. Hence, adding to some of those tables! 😉
Quite simply, this couple together has such a ferociously gentle and loving heart for people and Jesus. This showed by the way they loved their guests and the way the guests loved on them, toasted them and supported them. It showed in the way that Lyle immediately started in prayer moments after he saw his bride during their “first look”.
Precious moments galore, I don’t think the tears could stop rolling down my cheeks when Brittany’s dad held her in his arms during their father-daughter dance. And I don’t think I could pick my jaw up off the floor when I realized just how many family and friends traveled all the way from Cape Town to celebrate alongside the bride and groom. There were so many, y’all! It was incredible!
I just fall in love with these couples. With their stories. Their families. Their love.
I think Mr. and Mrs. Weber are just the neatest pair.
You can’t get any more beautiful mixed with such genuine, soft, fun and sweet characteristics than you get packaged up in Brittany. And Lyle knows that all too well. He loves her well, and they now have a new home awaiting them in Rowlett to furnish and make their own after they return from their honeymoon in Charleston!
…which I secretly am wanting to know all about, because my heart is still left in that city!!
Congratulations, Lyle and Brittany! Your wedding was so much fun to be a part of, and we wish you the best! We love you guys!
