A couple weekends ago, Jordan and I traveled back to our college town of Las Cruces to shoot a wedding for our dear friends Matt and Tessa. While we were there, it was like a reunion with so many of our college friends. I’m telling you, we’ll probably remember that weekend forever!
And one of the highlights of the trip (there were honestly so many!) was getting to celebrate, not only Tessa and Matt’s beautiful love and wedding, but celebrating our college buddy Logan’s new engagement to his sweetie, Kelsey! We just adore her!
I don’t know how many times I was editing their images that I turned to Jordan and said, “they’re so cute!”, “look how in love they are”, “AGH!”
It was a lot. A lot of times. Because look at their smiles for goodness sake!
I have to say that 95% of our college career we were laughing our way through, and looking back now from the real world, I realize how special our group of friends was. College years are just the best years, and Kelsey sure got herself a good one! We all just adore her and are so excited for her to continuing laughing with us when we’re all together.
It was a delight for me to be able to photograph their love in such a special, beautiful place as Old Mesilla. My heart missed being able to shoot there, and my heart was full to have them in front of my camera.
These two. So much joy awaits them, and I’m sure they can’t even imagine how the love they feel right now can actually grow–but it can, and I’m so excited for them to experience it over the years.
