This pop of purple.
OH MY this pop of purple in the wedding! I couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous it looked up against the Milestone’s bright wide and lovely walls. I mean, does it not just catch your eye?! It was so fun for me!
But what made spending the day with Matt & Lauren fun was feeling the love they shared. This started with setting up time before the ceremony for them to visit without seeing each other. Matt positioned his hand in front of a pillar inside the venue so that Lauren could see it and walk up to interlock her fingers with his.
I could feel Matt’s anxiousness and temptation to just forgo this whole “not see each other before the ceremony” thing. And just as equally, I could feel Lauren’s! Almost to where I had to run to intervene them from just hugging and having their “first look”–unplanned! I knew it was important to Lauren to see Matt for the first time when she walked down the aisle, so I felt like I was the photographer and little reminder! 😉
BUT goodness, the anticipation was incredible! I absolutely couldn’t wait for Matt to see how gorgeous Lauren looked in her lace dress with her stunning, long locks.
Because she looked stunning. And he knew it the second he saw her walk down the aisle, and he kissed her like he knew it when we spent time together during their portraits.
The wedding commenced with a popcorn bar, custom Italian dish for dinner and dancing galore. Families, friends and the wedded couple smiled the night away dancing on the dance floor. The groomsmen surprised Lauren with a little throwback piece while they serenaded her with a Backstreet Boys song on the dance floor.
Let’s just say, this gang has a blast. Matt and Lauren were definitely celebrated and left their celebration under a line of sparklers that lit the night sky. What a beautiful wedding day for these two and their families! Hugs Matt and Lauren!!
