First of all, let’s just get this out there: Erin made an incredibly stunning bride.

And Tucker had to have known from day one what a lucky guy he was to be marrying this girl.

Getting to know these two through or first wedding consultation over coffee at Starbucks, their engagement session and wedding day, I just fell in love with them. But wait, I always do, right? I love all my couples so dearly.

But one thing I loved, and it’s probably such a quirky thing for me to love, is how confident their love is.

And I say this, because of a simple line Tucker shared during their engagement session, and one that I’m not so sure Erin would smile over (or maybe today she will!).

As we were walking through Arbor Hills taking their engagement pictures, Tucker explained how he actually had proposed to Erin at this very location. He went on to explain how Erin had mentioned earlier in their relationship that she would love to be a little prepped for her proposal—you know, maybe having her nails done and outfit on point.

So, the sweet groom-to-be he was, he took her for a walk at Arbor Hills one morning and popped the question, Nike shorts, t-shirt and all.

I had to just giggle, because if you know Tucker and his sarcastic but loving personality, you know that this is totally him. But what I took from it was this:

Their love is based on not only the outward appearance or the laughs I’m sure they share—but they have a deep confidence in each other’s love.

This confidence that I pray lasts them a lifetime to come.

And obviously, I’m sure Erin can’t take a bad picture, so Tucker knew it was a win/win either way! 😉

Just like their wedding day: a win/win. Everything was beautiful and sparkly, gorgeous and blush, meaningful and fun. It seemed like their wedding night was a reunion of close friends and family friends who all knew each other and couldn’t stop smiling, dancing or celebrating.

I’m confident that every bride and groom would hope for a celebration like the packed venue they had! What a blessing! Congrats Tucker and Erin! Hugs to you both!
