While Matt and Cory clearly are looking in love, beautiful, precious, full of excitement and the list could go on….
I on the other hand was struggling behind the camera and probably causing some of their genuine laughter! Thankfully, they were full of acceptance and grace as I stood in an ant bed (still sporting the red bumps on my feet) and asked them to “grab their waffle” (instead of bible). But you know, it’s only made me chuckle here and there since their session!
Because CLEARLY, these two go together like waffles and syrup (too cheesy?). But seriously! I couldn’t be happier to be able to work with them and have meet them! They are just about as sweet as you can be. During our time together, it felt like we’d known each other forever, as I hopped in their car and drove around White Rock with them. They were so genuine, intentional and just obviously joyful people.
Together, I know they will bless many with these few characteristics that I was able to see!
White Rock was such a lovely location for their session. We were able to move around to some really dreamy spots, but I would have to say that my favorite was when we finished on the dock right at sunset. I know Cory had been envisioning this for her session, as well, and needless to say, she had some incredible ideas!
Can’t forget about the Aggie jerseys…whoop! 😉 Does it count if I’m an NMSU Aggie and I whoop?
Her flower crown was just about the cherry on top of the lake, sunset, romance and classy outfits! It truly couldn’t have been dreamier. I’m sure by the rate I was talking and maneuvering around that deck, they could tell I was pleased with what we were capturing!

Everything about this engagement session and couple. I’m so glad I get to continue to get to know this sweet couple and document their wedding next April! Hugs to you both!
