Pumpkins, genuine love and the sweetest pair to spend a Friday afternoon with.
When I met Brandi and heard her sweet love story with Charlie I knew quickly that 1) Charlie must be a heck of a guy to marry this sweet girl 2) I want to be around and photograph more brides like the one sitting in front of me, and 3) they were something special together.
I have to say after seeing the two of them together, hand in hand, wrapped up in each other’s arms, I was definitely right about all 3 assumptions. It’s couples like Charlie and Brandi that fuel my love for working with couples who are engaged to be married. What a special time in their lives. I cherish those couples who find so much joy and excitement in the planning yet know that this is only leading up to the bigger picture of a lifetime of marriage together. It’s the sweetest feeling having those couples rest in each other’s arms in front of my camera.
And I think we can all agree that while Brandi is a gem on the inside, she is so incredibly and naturally beautiful on the outside. I think Charlie’s smile in everyone of these pictures pretty much paints that picture of what he thinks of her inner and outer beauty. And I adore that!
Another thing I adore about these two is how they set aside their Thursdays for date nights. While these Thursdays are always looked forward to, Brandi had no idea that one of those Thursday nights would be a date night to never forget. It was their monthiversary and “date night” which turned into…their proposal night, as well! I loved seeing the way Brandi’s eye lit up as she explained their proposal story and loved seeing the same in Charlie’s eyes when he’s near his fiance.
May can’t come soon enough now!
