Don’t you love how you realize what small of a world it is? Well, I do!
And I seem to realize that more and more as I meet new couples or photo clients. It just so happens that Lauren and Jake were talking with some friends of theirs and sharing that I was taking their engagement pictures. You know what I’m going to say, right??
Well, those friends said, ‘no, way! We know Lindsay!”
So as we started off their engagement session, it was like we new each other through friends. And to add the cherry on top, as we were walking through the Arboretum, we realized that one of my December brides (shout out Shelby!) is friends with them too, because both couples are in the same home group. I absolutely love that!
But let’s cut to the chase: Jake and Lauren were so much fun to get to know, stroll through pretty places in Dallas with and obviously photograph! They both have personalities that make it easy for you to feel like you’ve been friends forever. And they’re both total foodies.
Like, I seriously am going to text Lauren next time Jordan and I plan a date night and then are stumped on what new place to try! It’s so fun to me that they know, love and date often by trying new food places around the area, and they seem to know the coolest, yummiest places! You guys, never stop exploring and dating like this! It’s seriously the best, and we’re so lucky to live in such a big city that the possibilities are endless!
I loved my time with Jake and Lauren, because we were able to hit such beautiful locations and capture precious memories for them. The weather was lovely, the light was plentiful and the conversation was seasoned. I’m so excited for them to experience the joys within marriage come October!! Congrats, you two!
