High school sweethearts!
Ah! I LOVED Banner & Clay! I chatted with Banner a few months back over the phone to discuss our wedding experience and quickly felt like she was a sweet, sweet bride. She plays volleyball at Indiana Wesleyan, and Clay plays football at Eastern Michigan. Isn’t their story sweet?
Two high school athletes move away for college to play sports at different colleges that are about 3 hours apart. Though they have busy fall sports calendars, they still find a way to not only make it work but GET ENGAGED. I didn’t play sports in college, but my husband played football, so I feel like hearing their stories and where they are now, just brought me back to some fun years of cheering Jordan on and experiencing all the busy and fun (from the outside for me!)! I’m so impressed by these two for being so dedicated to their sports yet pursuing one another and the exciting commitment of marriage.
But hanging out with them and seeing them together quickly made me understand how obvious of a decision that was for them both–they’re so perfect for one another! Clay is just about as nice as you can be–he was so sweet with Banner! And Banner is just about as gorgeous as you can be–can I have her hair please?!
Together, they make an idea #ldpcouple for me, and I am just GIDDY about their wedding next May! Enjoy!
