Timeless. Classic. Romantic!
Can we not forget FUN!?
I think the reception clearly defined the wedding as “fun”, thanks to DJ Adam Morgan and the dance floor!
But to start Nicole and Paul’s wedding day, it was oozing with excitement, joy and the sweetness nerves that anyone would want to feel. Nicole and Paul, separately, were both anxious with excitement as they knew their “first look” would be soon. As I photographed Nicole’s lovely details, I watched her as she prepared to see her groom, and I watched as she smiled from ear to ear, even bigger than before, in her stunning wedding gown.
Then MY excitement ramped up, because I knew Paul would just melt at the knees when he took in his bride: her beauty, her stunning gown, her gorgeous long, curled hair and amazing cascading bouquet.
And did he? OH he did.
Nicole walked down the spiral staircase at the Hebron at Windsor Parkway, and as she stepped down each step, I know Pau’s heart beat faster. He turned around to see his beautiful bride, walked up to her and wrapped her in his arms with a hug and some tears. The smiles on their faces are such a gift for me to photograph and a gift for generations to come—to see and know how much Nicole and Paul love one another, as witnessed by the first time they saw each other on their wedding day.
Not only was it witnessed in this moment, but it has been obvious to me since I met Nicole at our first meeting. Seeing the way her smile and eyes light up as she talks about Paul, talked about their wedding plans and was joyful for the plans to come. It’s so apparent how perfect these two are for one another and how proud Paul is of his beautiful wife!
As quoted in the sweet, heartfelt toasts given, “when you know, you know”. And in their case, they knew.
I loved every second with Paul and Nicole. Every detail from their incredible reception florals, Nicole’s lovely borrowed earrings from her mother, her incredible heels, the perfect weather, the sweet family and wedding party, the delicious and beautiful cake—a dream. As you scroll and relive their perfect February 22, you will see what a dream their day was, and I am so happy for them that it was!
