Wow, oh, wow.
While I’m tempted to just let pictures tell the story, because they’re going to be so much more spectacular than my words, I’m going to try my best to explain to you what a gorgeous, special and well-awaited wedding day July 24th was for Mr. and Mrs. Evans.
You see, their original wedding date was April 3rd, and this sweet couple showed more grace than I can even understand by being as kind and gracious to their vendors, family and friends while navigating the tough waters of having to postponing their wedding. I truly cannot imagine. All of the details (and you can see, there were a LOT of them!!), dreams and deadlines were shifted, and they were shifted with such grace and poise.
Every time I talked to Molly, I felt like her optimism and sheer excitement to marry Garrett just made MY excitement to serve them so much greater. She is absolutely one of the sweetest brides I’ve had the pleasure to work with, and her vision, along with Allora & Ivy Event Co. was just spectacular. I mean, I KNEW it was incredible while I was capturing it, but reliving it through editing while I had the space and time to truly acknowledge and savor the beauty–a treat, so incredible.
I am completely obsessed with it all. So, I’m sorry (not sorry) for completely over-posting details, over-posting husband and wife pictures and drooling over every little bit of this wedding. Like I said, these pictures will speak for themselves, so I hope you enjoy such a special day saved for a special couple who was so patient and poised as they took on the waves that crashed into them with this storm called Covid.
This couple is just so much fun. From their engagement session to Molly’s bridal session and throughout their wedding day, it was so obvious to see how strong not only their love is for one another, but they truly are just best friends. Totally best friends. And what a complete blessing that is!
Okay, I keep wanting to say, “good golly, Miss Molly”, because TRULY this was such an overwhelmingly incredible day to photograph. So, good golly, Miss Molly! Your wedding day was magnificent!
With a color palette to die for, stunning details like Jimmy Choo heels, sentimental heirloom jewelry, and florals to truly make you feel as though you’re in some sort of a lush garden dream–July 24th will forever be a new special day aside from April 3, and I’m grateful for that for them! I’m also grateful they loved pictures as much as me to let me try to explore every square inch of the Olana since we had a flexible timeline to do so!
So while my words simply can’t explain the beauty, joy and love from this day, the following pictures are going to do their best! So much love to his sweet couple!!!
