Las Cruces Farm & Ranch Museum | Barry & Jeannette

October 13, 2016

Can I start by saying that there’s just something special and unique when I get to edit and blog the “Dungan” wedding, because that name just so happens to be my maiden name!?

The Dungan Wedding 🙂

Jordan and I were honored and thrilled to be able to photograph our cousin Barry and new cousin Jeannette’s wedding this past weekend in Las Cruces, New Mexico. While it was so lovely to see family, it was equally as lovely to be able to photograph the memories they will have of their wedding day.

Such a well-planned, thoughtful, beautiful, colorful and fun wedding day, I might add! No rain could have wavered anyone’s excitement, but thankfully, nobody had to experience that. With rain percentages increases the days before their wedding, we were left with some beautiful clouds, rays of sunshine at times and some peeks of lighting here and there. All to add to the excitement of their wedding day, as we kept on smiling and wiping a tear or two as Barry and Jeannette exchanged their personal vows to one another.

The Organ Mountains set the stage beautifully for the couple to become one, the weather lovely, the florals just incredible and the celebration was one for the books.

I think my favorite moments of the night were seeing Barry and Jeannette’s biggest smiles when they were surrounded with their loved ones dancing, hand-in-hand as husband and wife walking down the aisle, watching the slideshow at the reception and running through their sparkler exit.

Those smiles are priceless and unmistakably as joyful as they come. I hope they can always look back on those smiles and remember how supported, loved and cherished they are.

I’m so happy for my cousin to have found such a gem in Jeannette. I’m quite positive I’ve never met a more thoughtful, beautiful and fun woman. And I mean…what a BRIDE in that wedding dress! I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her in her dress with that veil and her bouquet–absolutely stunning! Barry is so lucky to have her, and I obviously know full well how lucky she is to have him! 😉 I’m so joyful that they get to experience life as husband and wife now!
