So bittersweet, this engagement session was!
David and Kendal were my last engagement session (or session, for that matter) before my maternity leave. I shot their session just a day shy of 38 weeks, and I honestly felt great. The weather was nice and cool, the leaves and trees were the most fall-looking they’ve been yet and these two finally got some uninterrupted, relaxed time to cuddle in each other’s arms and have plenty of excuses to flirt and kiss.
I made sure this happened plenty! 🙂
Kendal had mentioned how it had been such a busy Thanksgiving week for them, and not only that, but David is in law school, so I think it goes unsaid how busy his week was for that reason, as well! I loved knowing this little tidbit before and truly just encouraged them both to relax and enjoy themselves during the session, as it obviously wasn’t hard for them to put the busy aside and be in love!
Kendal looked absolutely gorgeous, and I thought her fall outfit, complete with oversized sweater and plaid scarf went so beautifully with the fall foliage in the park with their pup Marley. Seriously, so cozy, cozy, cozy. I adored it. And Marley was such a champ! She did so well and made her parents extra happy!
We started their engagement session in the Wilson District, which was so quaint and gorgeous with its fall colors, and we ended just minutes down the road with the city skyline behind us. I’m not sure which background was my favorite, because they both equally make me giddy! First and foremost, this sweet pair was the icing on top of either, because they made it so fun and enjoyable. Let’s just say, I went out with a bang before my maternity leave!
