Oh, what a beautiful day!
The weather, the people, the details–I’m 100% certain that Jeff and Maria could have never dreamed of a more perfect Saturday to vow to forever with one another.
60 of their closest loved ones witnessed their nuptials at Highland Park United Methodist Church where Maria’s precious daddy walked her to Jeff. At this moment, you could just feel the emotion in the air–nerves gone, love apparent and smiles as genuine and precious as ever. Oh, their beautiful smiles!
While they lated throughout the ceremony, my most favorite smiles of the day were when Jeff and Maria walked out of the church as husband and wife to the sound of the bells ringing. I literally felt chills run down my spine as they beamed from ear to ear and couldn’t help but squeeze each other tightly and kiss each one yet a few more times as husband and wife!
THIS is what fuels my excitement for moments like these.
The JOY.
The PEOPLE.
The legacy they’re laying that follow what their parents laid before them. What sweet, sweet families and loved ones these two had beside them for an intimate dinner of 14.
Their first dinner together with families on each side was as lovely as you’d ever imagine.
It was a treat to get to photograph husband and wife portraits of them in a few different locations, because it was just so easy and fun to capture their love. Not to mention–they’re such a gorgeous pair! The detail on Maria’s dress from the beautiful back, train and cathedral veil–flawless, a dream and classic.
I’m so honored I was able to photograph such a heartfelt day for Maria and Jeff! Congratulations, you two!
